By the end of June 2022, the province had 630 cooperatives, of which, agricultural cooperatives were 409 cooperatives (accounting for 64.9%), non-agricultural cooperatives had 221 cooperatives (accounting for 35.1%).
The number of active cooperatives is 496, an increase of 6.8% over the same period last year. There are about 68,793 members participating in the cooperative, an increase of 793 members compared to the end of 2021. It is estimated that by the end of 2022, the cooperative sector has about 70,000 members, the number of regular employees 21,793, an increase of 26% compared to that of the cooperative. in the same period last year.

In order to mobilize resources and implement preferential programs and policies to support the development of the market economy, the Provincial People's Committee advised the Provincial People's Council to issue Resolution No. 52/NQ-HDND, dated December 23, 2021 on The medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 is from the local budget, in which, 30 billion VND is allocated to support the development program of the market economy and cooperatives (in 2022, the provincial budget has allocated 14, 3 billion dong).

At the meeting, Dak Lak province raised difficulties, problems and contributed ideas to the Draft Law on Cooperatives (amended) on issues: regulations on registration of cooperative groups operating from 6 months or more or contributed capital; stipulates that cooperative economic organizations with legal person status must self-publish basic information every year on their website; handling assets and capital when the cooperative economic organization with legal status dissolves; regulations on reducing the maximum capital contribution ratio of members of cooperatives and unions of cooperatives; Support policies for cooperative economic organizations, regulations on principles, criteria for consideration, support content, etc.
